IT’S A FESTIVAL LIFE FOR ME
Traveling isn’t always all it’s cracked up to be. When your job is to keep roaming from place to place, a new bed (with any luck) every other night, it can be hard to see why you don’t just pack it in. The lure of something new and exciting is simply too great however. Getting away for a vacation is one thing, no plan and only a sandy beach and wonderful scenery to look forward to.
So, I have a plan. Festivals are one of the great things that most cities, towns, villages and entire nations have to offer all the time. Making the most out of what is available will depend on you.
I am a video gamer, book lover, fan of the stage, fanatical dancer, and music lover. Where do I begin? Finding a festival is as easy and as a quick Google web search. The ordinary vacation of getting away doesn’t always cut it; sometimes you simply need more action in your life.
Finding an adventure and making that a part of your get away may be more revitalizing than simply sitting on a beach.
A BACKPACK AND A GREAT PAIR OF SHOES
Like all other great purchases in life you better know what you want before you step in the store. Personally, I like to travel as light as possible, but there are essentials that I can’t do without. Having my bare essentials of technology on board I’ll need a solid backpack to transport it all. A water-proof bag for all my gear and an equally durable shoulder bag for day trips during my stay are essential items.
For shoes the most durable lightweight hiking boots may sometimes seem out of place. When you are traipsing through a local festival on your feet for hours on end, keeping your feet comfy will be well worth the investment.
Festivals are an incredible opportunity to see most any location at its very best. No matter how much you try and see and experience while visiting any new place you will likely miss out on something. Having a plan, such as visiting during festivals, gives you the means to see a new place when they are putting on a party that tourists flock to.
